More than 90 Health Professionals trained in lymphedema management and post-Operation follow-up, April 3 -8 2024 Mettu Town Oromia.

 

NaPAN, in collaboration with Iluaba Bora Zone Health Department, facilitated a one-day zonal-level advocacy workshop in Illu stat Hotel on April 2, 2024. The workshop addresses more than 30 participants representing different sector offices/Departments and communities.

Following the advocacy workshop, NaPAN Provided three days of training for a total of 91 Health professionals from April 3 - 8, 2024 in five districts: Alge Sach, Bilo Nopa, Bure, Darimu and Yayo invited from 21 health centers in three sessions conducted training focused on lymphedema management and post-operation follow-up. The training participants included NTD Focal Persons, District Health Extension Officers, nurses, and health officers from state, zonal and district health offices.
